Mighty, Grampa's Horse
...a living tribute

Mighty is our current horse; a Morgan gelding. He is a big baby in his disposition towards people. He loves attention and when Tabitha comes over she wants to go to the barn to see the burros and Mighty. She climbs up herself and sits in his feeding hay loft where he nestles his head against her. She often lays there too for a bit and feeds him out of her hand. When Journey and Josie came over Tabitha and the two girls went up there with Grampa and all were in the same loft where he eats. My he likes attention and kids are his favorite besides Grampa.

Grampa spoils him too always giving him a carrot each nite when he feeds him and often in the morning. Mighty will neigh to call Grampa too when he sees him. Sometimes the horse farrier comes to do his feet and he is good for him standing still most of the time.

He has a impressive background coming from some well known horses in the horse world; to us he is a baby and is company. Grampa likes him really well as well as I. He likes it when it rains he will stand out in the rain often. It is like a shower is to a person. He has good hearing also he hears things a long ways away and perks his ears up and is looking for whatever it is. He is Grampas horse.
